Razor bob by Katie
Samuel Cole stylists Katie Hu and Libby Bink attended a hair cutting and styling class at the highly regarded Bumble & Bumble University, Bb.U, in the Meatpacking District of New York City.
The class aimed to define the stylist’s individual career journey by perfecting foundation and classic techniques, so the stylist has a versatile skill that allows for a greater range of specialties.
Razors are versatile and can be used in long haircuts to remove weight without removing length, and in short bobs to provide a light and airy texture to the ends. The knowledge and use of exclusive Bumble and Bumble products enhanced the cut with a custom look to match the model’s natural features and lifestyle.
The small class environment allowed us to expand our comfort zone and skill set with the razor. The razor really allows the stylist to customize each cut to the client’s specific hair type and style. – Libby Bink
