Each year, TrendVision provides stylists the opportunity to engage with the latest trends in styling to take hair artistry to the next level and showcase their skills in live competitions to advance their careers.

In her Creative Color Workshop, Stevie Smith shared advanced color formulations and custom patterns that pushed stylists to expand beyond the natural shades of everyday hair color. Stylists got creative with artistic concepts such as placing cool and warm tones of brunettes and reds together. She demonstrated how carefully chosen monochromatic nuances can soften a statement of color and create a beautifully harmonized look.

Gardner Edmunds has worked with top industry professionals and his expertise in precision-based scissor and razor cutting is highly sought after. He has traveled and taught at numerous hair shows and seminars across the country, and his clientele includes Olivia Palermo, Rebecca Minkoff and Kelly Ripa.

Stylists Alexis + Michelle Attend Bumble and bumble’s Flagship University

Bumble and bumble’s flagship education center, Bumble and bumble University, is top in the industry. In addition to refining razor cutting skills, designers Alexis Lyons and Michelle Larry expanded their knowledge of Cutting Theory, Advanced Consultation Skills and Product Knowledge in Bumble’s Foundations Class.

The instructor demonstrated foundational razor cutting skills such as properly holding the straight blade and how to keep a steady grip without being too stiff. Alexis and Michelle worked with models who had various textures of hair in order to feel the difference in cutting silky smooth hair versus thick curly hair with a razor.
