International Wella Top Artist Aubrey Loots Showcases Fall 2018 Color Trends

The only thing Aubrey Loots is more passionate about than the fashion of hair styling is educating and inspiring hairstylists around the world. As an educator Aubrey draws on his 23 years of experience styling and working on runway shows, fashion shows, and Red Carpet Events in New York, Paris, London, Korea and more. Just in the past few months, Aubrey has worked on Behind the Chair’s hair show in Texas, led Wella’s styling team for African Fashion International’s Cape Town Fashion Week in South Africa, and presented at Wella’s TrendVision in Tokyo. While in Tokyo, he also hosted his own week-long Creative Retreat where he taught and set up a photo shoot for stylists, led tours of top Tokyo salons and explored the culture through food, art and shopping.

At Samuel Cole Salon, Aubrey’s Master Color Workshop emphasized the art of color placement, strategically lightening pieces of hair that frame the face and therefore creating a major impact. Located in the heart of Los Angeles, trendsetting Nine Zero One Salon is the salon-home for dozens of celebrities and prides itself on creating “The Best You” and sharing their professional expertise in their prestigious 901 Academy. Nine Zero One’s clientele includes Selena Gomez, Sarah Hyland, Justin Bieber, Nina Dobrev, Julianne Hough, and Ashley Graham.

Stylists Alley + Dempsey attended a color class at 901 Academy that focused on creating richness in color, controlling warm tones and color blending. Expert stylists-to-the-stars Anthony Holguin led the class. Alley + Dempsey’s model, pictured left, had a grown-out ombre look that she wanted blended. They simply added some highlights around her face and deepened the tones through the ends of her hair to give her a completely new look.
