Senior Stylists Hone Their Skills at Bumble and bumble’s Design Workshop

The award-winning Samuel Cole Salon recently sent Senior Stylists; Tiffanie Spellenburg, Kristi Kessler and Natalie Bowers to Bumble & bumble University located in New York City’s historic meat packing district. The stylists enhanced their skill set by studying with master hairdressers at Bumble in a rigorous cutting class entitled Design Workshop. These Samuel Cole Salon stylists honed their skills, found inspiration and discovered different and unique ways to focus their ideas, expand their repertoire, and learn to view hairdressing in new contexts.

“Design Workshop really pushed me outside of my box with the straight razor. I am so inspired and can’t wait to bring my new advanced skills back to the salon,” said Spellenburg.

Kait Hu, Lauren Munns, Chelsea LePage and Morgan Tunnell recently attend the prestigious Bumble and bumble University in NYC. The team of Samuel Cole Salon stylists participated in a two-day hands-on styling master class. Expert Bumble and bumble educators put our stylist to the test and pushed them to take their foundational styling skills to the next level. The class was entirely focused on the art of styling and featured classic styling principles involving the flat brush and round brush. The virtue of consistency and replication were enforced by styling models in hand-on sessions under the intense eye of industry veterans.

Stylists Attend Design Studio at Bumble & bumble University in NYC

Samuel Cole Salon stylists Michael Knight and Kristen Carson recently attended Bumble & bumble University in New York City’s historic meat packing district. Michael and Kristin enhanced their skill set by studying with master hairdressers at the House of Bumble in a rigorous 4 day course entitled Design Studio.

A day at Bumble and bumble is very challenging but inspiring! No matter how many years you have been doing hair they always find a way to excite you. I returned to Raleigh having a sense of reinvention and a great feeling of renewal,” commented Knight.

Knight and Carson honed their skills, found inspiration and discovered different and unique ways to focus their ideas, expand their repertoire and learn to view hairdressing in new contexts where the New York Times has called the “Harvard of Hair”.

November 18-19, 2013 (NEW YORK CITY) – Samuel Cole Salon recently sent three of their stylists for advanced education at Bumble and bumble University in NYC. Kelsey Wright, Erin Grogan and Veronique Breault attended a two-day workshop that was devoted entirely to styling hair entitled Styling I. They improved their foundational skills and fine-tuned their command of tools and products. They learned to control the flat brush and round brush and the virtue of consistency through replication by styling multiple models in hand-on sessions.

“Attending Bumble and bumble University was a truly amazing experience. What a phenomenal opportunity to improve my skill set. I am looking forward to taking what I learned back to my clients at Samuel Cole Salon,” said Veronique.

November 4-7, 2013 (New York City) – Samuel Cole Salon stylists, Kristina Weeks, Carolyn Nord and Alley Biehl attended Bumble & bumble University in New York City to participate in the exclusive Network Educator training program. According to Bumble & bumble, the Network Educator School “trains top talent in our Network salons to help inspire creativity, superlative customer service and retail success. Hairdressers at the height of their careers can translate their dedication, passion and expertise to their fellow stylists.” As Network Educators, Kristina, Carolyn and Alley will help conduct training workshops within Samuel Cole Salon.
