Our stylists had the pleasure of learning from some of Oribe’s finest, Ronnie Stam and Adam Livermore, for this technique. Both are based in New York and have had their work featured in several magazines such as Vanity Fair and Modern Salon to name a couple. Each educator brought their own unique artistry to the textured chignon class. Their different approaches covered all the bases for our learning styles while still being fun and packed full of content. What better way to explore your artistic knowledge than color transformations! That’s exactly what our stylists got to do in our color correction class with Wella Educator Melissa Hall. In this hands on class, Melissa encouraged our stylists to dig deep into their color knowledge. Their color transformations ranged from fashion colors, to hair banding, to brassy blonde becoming a beautiful sun kissed blonde. Melissa’s 25+ years in the industry really showed in her approach to this class. She delivered helpful color formulations for our models while being patient and thorough with our stylists. And let me tell you, they LOVED it! Melissa provided easy to use techniques for our stylists with a practical in salon application. She made something hard seem easy! Our team is so excited to share these awesome techniques with our clients!

Not only did he share great new techniques but he made the class fun with his laid back demeanor. His take on balayage highlights was simple and easy to recreate behind the chair. He took his time breaking down each step and formula in a way that made perfect sense to our stylists. The result was a beautiful, blended balayage with pops of brightness around the face. Dean styled the hair with Oribe’s Maximista for control and volume and finished with Oribe’s Apres Beach Spray for soft, glossy texture.
