KatieM took her talents to New York Fashion Week to style hair for designer Prabal Gurung. She worked along key hairstylist Paul Hanlon to create the innocent, clean, and fresh look that went with collection. Gurung is from Nepal and his presentation was inspired by his homeland which suffered a devastating earthquake earlier this year. The collection reflected many Nepalese references as the show began Monks from his home town chanted a traditional prayer. Gurung has also started a fund that has raised over $600,000 to help with the recovery.
Preparing and styling for New York Fashion Week is always rush but I get so much inspiration from it. The best way to describe it is Beautiful Chaos!” said stylist KatieM.
