Monica is the proud owner of salon:troy in Albany,New York. From a very young age, Monica found herself intrigued with hair. At the age of nine she was introduced to the Vidal Sassoon Academy documentary. At that moment, Monica knew she wanted to be apart of the Sassoon team. Over the years she gained exposure to a wide variety of brands such as Tony + Guy and Bumble and Bumble. She joined the Oribe Hair Care Education Team with her focus being to share her love of cutting with salons around the country. Monica’s passion for cutting was on full display with this technique. Inner layers are designed for clients who want the movement of layers but don’t want to lose their length.
