Our Team

Education is the cornerstone of all aspects of our salon and extends beyond hair design. Each stylist is extensively trained in the art of "pampering". Every appointment is dedicated to and focused around pleasing you. From color to cut, your next hair design is the inspired and passionate vision of our knowledgeable, energetic and hand-selected stylists. Comprehensively trained, each of our professionals can create new and beautiful looks that will enhance your individual fashion sense.

Our Level System

Level 1: Associate Designer
Our associate designers have spent the last year working exclusively with one of our mentor level designers, so they are equipped with their same skill set. They attend weekly classes to complete our Core Education as well as monthly classes in advanced education.

Level 2: Designer
Our designers have graduated our core level of extended education as well as working exclusively with our mentors. They also attend advanced training monthly in the form of classes taught in salon by Wella, Oribe, and Kerastase.

Level 3: Advanced Designer
They are members of our secondary level of education. Our Advanced Designers have graduated from our Core Education Program. They continue their education by attending monthly classes taught by Wella, Oribe, and Kerastase. They have academy experience which includes attending Bb. Design Workshop in NYC.

Level 4: Senior Designer
Have risen to a higher skill level and defined their own creative brand. They have at least 2 academy experiences and attend quarterly advanced education in color and cutting techniques.

Level 5: Advanced Senior Designer
Our Advanced Senior Designer have reached the top level of our education program which includes completing Core Education and Advanced training with leading educators from Wella, Oribe, and Kerastase. They have at least three academy experiences.

Level 6: Master Designer/ Mentor
Have mastered our continued education program and help to train our up and coming designers. They are not only responsible for in salon classes but work exclusively with our associates helping to develop their skill set. They regularly attend specialized training at Wella, Oribe, and Kerastase.

Level 7: Elite Designer/ Mentor
Have mastered our continued education program and help to train our up and coming designers. They are not only responsible for in salon classes but work exclusively with our associates helping to develop their skill set. They also regularly attend advanced training at Wella, Oribe, and Kerastase in NYC and LA and come back and educate our team.

Level 8: Artistic and Technical Director
These stylists have distinguished themselves at the top echelon of our education team at Samuel Cole Salon. They are responsible for setting and starting color and cutting trends and provide a large portion of our in salon education. Their expertise is indefinable.
