What inspires you: Motivated, passionate, kind people

What gave you the desire to coif: I can’t remember. I do recall practicing French braids on friends when I was six. I was born with a head of unruly hair and had to figure out how to style it myself. Hair has always fascinated and excited me.


Favorite bad hair moment: Circa summer 1989. All girl’s summer camp. My mom trimmed my bangs, wet, and I have curly hair. Bad, very, very bad.

Favorite hair era: Right now! There is a fushion of every era, every time, every style! It’s so exciting, anything goes!

Best cut & color ever: Whatever I have at the moment, before I change it!

Prized possession: A wooden loon my Grandfather carved for me for my 21st birthday. It’s beautiful, incredibly detailed, and reminds of my childhood and all that is good.
